Magical Miracle

image

How difficult that must have been for you to reach from the top of the sunflower all the way to the chair. So unlikely an event and yet here is your thread of life, your tight rope, that is proof that you took the leap, that you trusted, and you made it. If only all of us were as faithful and trusting as a spider.

I’m totally in awe how that spider made such an incredible distance with not much wind.  What a miracle I witnessed today…I’m thinking angels are speaking to me.

(Also, notice the dilemma of my once majestic sunflowers.)

More Sunflower Textures

Hard to capture this because of the angle of the sun, but it reminded me of Salvador Dali…melted face of a sunflower.

Beautiful  strangers I didn’t plant but arrived.

These were shook off some, but the stalks and roots are enormous! One stalk was about two inches in diameter!

I will miss these treasures. The last storm, left me only a handful…feels like a summer goodbye…barefoot & my face to the life source.

Today’s contribution to Tuesdays of Texture (de monte y mar).

Goodbye my Friend

Winds of change are whisking through, bringing cool, crisp winds in exchange for my  energy, my vitality. I’m no longer dining on carefree air , enjoying the loves of my life.

Trees and plants are dropping their greens in exchange for vibrant oranges and reds.  This too, I love…but it also signals  the approach of the bitterness of another cycle of stinging cold,  shunned warmth, like the arms of a lost lover

I will miss my friend…my beloved summer, its freedom coursing my veins. I have not many visits left.

Oh please, dear one, can you linger a little longer?

Texture Tuesdays

I’ve been traveling across America, and I could hardly wait to get home and post for Texture Tuesdays with Narami.   I look forward to it every week, even if I don’t post. There are so many great things we see if we just pay attention and look closer, and there are a plethora of finds out there from State to State.  Posting along the way proved to be difficult with sparse to little internet.  KOA camps  try to have internet, but alas, their setup doesn’t always work but for maybe email.

The cool part is I should have enough pictures (over 5,000) to find something to meet the challenges for many Tuesdays to come!

Enjoy some of these pictures of landscape from Wyoming…truly one of the prettiest parts of the country from sunsets to wide open country, even the clouds are curiously shaped.   Have you ever seen anything so fluffy?  It looks like it came from a whipped cream can.   Have fun!
