Winds of change are whisking through, bringing cool, crisp winds in exchange for my energy, my vitality. I’m no longer dining on carefree air , enjoying the loves of my life.
Trees and plants are dropping their greens in exchange for vibrant oranges and reds. This too, I love…but it also signals the approach of the bitterness of another cycle of stinging cold, shunned warmth, like the arms of a lost lover
I will miss my friend…my beloved summer, its freedom coursing my veins. I have not many visits left.
Oh please, dear one, can you linger a little longer?
so incredibly cool up close!
This is the first time I planted sunflowers. And while I LOVE them, they took over my whole garden…what majesty…what pure embodiment of summer.

Beautiful! Autumn is my favorite season though. I just wish it lasted a whole lot longer.

Autumn is my second favorite, so I am not too sad. I shall have to pop over and take a peek at what you are doing. I started a new job and haven’t been good at visiting. TTFN

I am Rhonda! I get to work some in the mornings, and write and do my Poetry Therapy in the afternoons. Less stress! (I’m still wrapping a few loose ends until spring…but it’s better!)
