I have a youngest daughter who has been proud of my losing 45 pounds since I went through menopause in my 40’s. I was told by an OB/Gyn to lose to help lower my cholesterol or ‘else’ I would take the meds that do so, which have horrible side effects. I never knew until my daughter started me on putting mainly vegetables and more whole grains into my body, how much it affects me; overall! I appreciate this fresh sounding recipe, love oatmeal in my pancakes, have been using flax and chia seeds for awhile now! Hugs for sharing this, also will visit the blog you featured for more recipes. Thanks, Marie!
