Welcome to Writing Wings For you!  I am passionate about so many things, but mostly anything with words, novels, stories, poetry, puzzles, collages.  If it’s written, I love it because it gives us humans a voice, a connection, the power to create and most of all the power to heal.  Words are magical.

I created this blog to connect and to learn about my world.  Collaboration is encouraged.

In addition to words, you will find that I am passionate about all things creative like the arts, painting and singing and storytelling, cooking and yes, even math.  I’ve seen people let themselves go and fly!  And that my friends, elates me.  Nothing is more appealing than revealing your wings!

Born and raised in the south, so I appreciate my Texas roots, but I do love my NW life in the beautiful state of Idaho where rivers run clear and the mountain air fills your soul with so much inspiration.  As a matter of fact, I have lived in Idaho longer than I have in Texas, but I still love my bluebonnets and the cicada calls and crickets, and we must not forget Texas cooking!

You will find a variety of posts here.  I don’t want to be tied to one genre.  I’m an artist, and I create in the moment.

I fiercely love these things:  My husband, my family, My God, soul, spirit, words, art, dancing…so don’t be surprised when I write about any one or all of these things.  Sometimes at the same time!

Mostly, I hope this is a place where your soul feels comfortable and free to explore and journey and yes, even fly with your beautiful wings.
