Letter to you little one,
You, who was conceived in the most blessed love of two people
You, who only knew love
You, whose spirit
will forevermore be cuddled
between mom and dad
You who left your kiss marks on mom’s belly
to remind her that
You are her spirit connection to God
so she may always know love.
You, guardian angel, are tiny
But oh so mighty
My friend suffered a great loss of a baby she waited so long to meet.
Her heart is beginning the journey to heal, and she began to write some. I pieced this poem together
from our written conversations. Never has a little one been loved so much.
May these words heal another mom’s longing heart.

Such a touching poem. A close friend of mine had a stillborn baby. The cord was wrapped around her neck. They had been trying for awhile too and haven’t had any more. I feel for your friend and send her my love. xx Rowena

I lost two before they were born. Someone suggested buying an angel ornament for each of them. I also heard a concert with a song, “There’s a Rocking Chair in Heaven” sung at the time (the 80’s) which said angels were rocking babies. Both of these things have given me comfort. I have told my living children they will see their sister and brother someday. They took turns putting the 2 angels on the tree. These may help your friend. ♡
