Very impressive. The elements combine in a subtle way, both purposes obvious and understated. Nice color choice too, really pops!

Marie – Your logo is fascinating in both design and color. I most definitely can see it in purple. It speaks to me on many levels. First, I felt freedom to fly as high and far as my spirit wants, unstoppable by any force other than myself. Second, the body of the core provides the security that my spirit requires. Knowing I’ll always have a safe place I can return to should I soar too high or to far. It’s this core that whispers to me and tells me don’t worry, don’t be afraid, all is well and trust in me. You are capable and only through courage will you conquer fear. The combination of power and sense of movement makes this a wonderful logo.
The photo at the top of my blog is my trademark. It is of a stone bridge in Cowley County, Kansas not far from where I grew up. It’s also the location where my aunt, my mother’s sister, was murdered when she was 15. Due to my great-grandfather’s corrupt power over others, the murder was never investigated and I’ve worked off and on for well over ten years trying to unravel what really happened to my Aunt Hallie. Tom took the photo of the bridge. I use a shaded in version of the bridge on my business cards, letterhead, etc. Sheri

Hello Sheri! I’m sorry that I didn’t get this right away. I was gone on a retreat that had limited service. At first I saw that it said I got this and I hadn’t seen it! Then, when I made a comment, it didn’t go through.
I appreciate the specific comments you made! It was great feedback, and most of all, I felt that you got a lot of what I intended when I created the design and more. You are so colorful and inspiring with your words. I shall treasure this gift as I go on my new adventures.
I’m so sorry about the tragedy of your aunt. I can’t imagine the loss first of all, but to not be able to make sense of it or bring her death justice must be painful, almost unbearable. But you honor her memory in a profound way. I imagine that bridge as a way to communicate between here and there. It’s as if you are gazing upon the lushness of heaven itself. But the angle of the picture is looking through under the bridge to the other side. So, in a way, it’s a four way communication. Mostly what I love with the picture is the comfort it brings with its beauty and sense of home. What a blessing your precious aunt has in you! Also, you and Tom make such a great team!

Marie – Please, never ever feel you must apologize for being late on replying to something I’ve said. I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that I’m not always right on target with a time schedule. I do my best, as we all do, to stay current but life being what it is, out time must meet other demands.
